Thornton Road Community Centre Association (TRCCA) is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).

 

The charitable purposes of the SCIO are:

To operate for the benefit of the public in Kirkmuirhill, Blackwood and surrounding communities (the ‘Communities’);

Support the development of the Thornton Road Community Centre to provide an inclusive community centre for the Communities;

Oversee the programming of events at the Thornton Road Community Centre to reflect the needs of the Communities;

Provide a community space for activities for the young people of the Communities:

Work in partnership with public, private or other voluntary bodies to improve the communities, and Advance citizenship and community development.

 

The Membership Fee is £5 per year and is open to any individual aged 16 or over who subscribes to purposes and constitution of the organisation.

As a member, you will receive regular updates and receive an invitation to Annual General and Extraordinary Meetings held.

Membership applications are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. Members may cancel their membership at any time in writing to the Board of Trustees. The Board may also decline or terminate membership for particular reasons.
