Spring Launch of TRCCA’s E-Bike Loan Scheme

As part of Healthy Valleys ‘Active Travel’ project, Thornton Road

Community Centre Association (TRCCA) is re-launching its free,

short term E-Bike loan scheme, starting Friday 22nd April 2022 in

Kirkmuirhill/Blackwood.

This is a great opportunity for local residents to try an electric bike

(such as those illustrated in this poster), which will allow them to get

fit while enjoying the amazing world of cycling. Ideal for leisure use,

cycling to the local shops or place of work or on paved cycle paths.

Also, for those who have been thinking about buying an E-Bike, this

would be a great way to try one out before purchase.

Full information about the bikes will be given before issue and ID and

a signed Agreement will be required. Helmets and Hi-Vis jackets will

be available and, if necessary, cycle training can also be arranged.

The period of free loans can be from one to four weeks.

If you are interested, or would like more information, please contact

the following TRCCA Board Members in the first instance :-

Dennis White – 0777 597 4982 – or via dwhite@scotgenes.com

George Buckley – 0744 339 7400

or thorntonroad@outlook.com

Bike it – you’ll like it!
